With patch 6.80 Terrorblade stepped into Dota 2's battlefield. Armed with Reflection, Conjure Image, Metamorphosis and Sunder, he roams the lands leaving fiery footsteps behind him. But just how well do you know him?
General Information
- With +3.2 agility per level, Terrorblade has the second highest agility growth behind Phantom Lancer (+4.2/level)
- Terrorblade benefits from 1.5 BAT (Base Attack Time) in melee form & 1.6 BAT in ranged form, where most heroes only have 1.7 BAT
- With 7 armor at level 1 Terrorblade is extremely resilient to physical damage harass, especially when combined with a Poor Man Shield.
- Terrorblade leaves footsteps behind which last for ~7 seconds. These footsteps are always visible to you and your allies.
- Footsteps are only created for enemies if they can currently see Terrorblade.
- Terrorblade's illusions leave footsteps as well.
- Rubick who stole Metamorphosis does not leave footsteps.
Q: Reflection
- Slows both attack speed and movement speed by 60%. Can't be purged.
- Creates a Phantom Illusion. A Phantom Illusion is impossible to control or even select. It is untargetable, invincible, ignores all CCs, spells and even terrain.
- It moves at max movespeed (522 MS) and chases its target in a straight line under any condition, even if the unit goes into the fog of war, TPs away or goes invisible. Note that even if it keeps chasing an invisible unit, it will not be able to attack without vision.
- It has the same vision range and carry the same auras as its target. A phantom illusion is still an illusion, so it carries all illusions properties.
- It will only attack its target, and die as soon as the target dies or after its 5 seconds duration.
- Can't target magic immune units, but going magic immune after being targeted does not dispel the slow nor prevents the illusion from hitting you.
- Differences with Dota 1 (bugs?): Only able to target heroes or illusions (should be able to target any non magic immune unit, including creeps) & Linken Sphere fully blocks Reflection.
W: Conjure Image
- Creates an image of Terrorblade current form (melee / range).
- Image stays in ranged form even if Metamorphosis ends on Terrorblade.
- What work / doesn't work on illusions can be found on the Dota 2 wiki Illusion page.
- Remember that Terrorblade cast animation is fairly slow (0.5 sec).
E: Metamorphosis
- Turns into ranged form (550 range).
- Damage boost is considered as base damage, meaning illusions benefit from it.
- Use it like an ultimate. 140 sec cooldown is painfully long.
- Can't be purged.
- Difference with Dota 1 (intended?): 0.52 cast time. You can easily dodge spells.
R: Sunder
- Can target allies, enemies and illusions.
- HP Swap is % based. 150/1000 HP (15%) <=> 3000/4000 HP (75%) becomes 750/1000 HP (75%) & 600/4000 HP (15%).
- Minimum HP % threshold (25% / 20% / 15%): if you swap with 1% HP & level 2 Sunder, the enemy will be left with 20% HP and not 1% HP.
- Instantly ministuns the target (different from Dota 1 where there was a projectile).
- Fully goes through BKB (swap & ministun).
- HP-removal type, not considered as damage. That means it completely ignores things like Ghost Scepter or Blademail. It doesn't even cancel Salve or Clarity Potions.
- Differences with Dota 1 (bugs?): Blocked by Linken Sphere & can heal under Ice Blast.
- Linken Sphere on allies does not prevent Sunder.
