Mathieu "Maniac" Quiquerez formed the team at the end of July, and now the team has been signed by a new eSports organization, Rogue, a week before their first LAN appearance.

The Rogue organization is a new face in the eSports scene - having just formed on May 3rd and quickly acquiring a European Overwatch team. Rogue was formed by a co-owner of the CS:GO Team Enemy, the former general manager of Enemy, and a few private investors, establishing some managerial and organizational credibility for the current roster:

Switzerland Mathieu "Maniac" Quiquerez
Denmark Nicolai "glace" Jensen
Denmark Casper "cadiaN" Møller
Denmark Jesper "TENZKI" Plougmann
Estonia Kevin "HS" Tarn

Maniac had this to say about this new development:

We're extremely excited to continue our journey as a team together with Rogue. I have been in contact with [their CEO] Frank for quite a while and always felt that he was a genuine person so as soon as the opportunity to join forces with him came along, this was something we had to explore. We look very much forward to cooperating with Rogue and we'll do our best to honor their trust.

Rogue will compete in just one week from August 26-28 at the Power-LAN tournament in Odense, Denmark and then from September 1-4 at the Northern Arena event in Toronto, Canada.

Rogue CEO Franklin "Frank" Villarreal (the co-owner of NME) had this to say about his most recent aquisition:

I'm extremely excited to welcome Maniac, Tenzki, cadiaN, HS, and glace to the Rogue family. I've been trying to work with Maniac for nearly a year and a half and finally have my chance. With Overwatch, Rogue has proven we can compete at the highest levels of competition, and I can't wait to prove the same in the more developed Counter Strike scene.
