ESL have revealed that IEM San Jose which will begin on November 21-22 will feature a $100,000 CS:GO tournament.
With only a few days ahread of IEM Cologne, ESL has already revealed more details on the next IEM stop, San Jose. The North American edition of IEM will feature at least a $100,000 prize pool which will be further increased through community funding. This is already $15,000 bigger than the IEM Cologne prize pool for the CS:GO tournament.
IEM San Jose will commence on November 21st in The SAP Center and will surely be one of the biggest North American events to date. ESL has also revealed that CS:GO will be played on the main stage during the whole event. Furthermore, being the second IEM stop for CS:GO, San Jose will also play a qualifying role for the IEM Katowice.
