DreamHack has announced the French side as the first confirmed participant at the DH Open Tours event, set to take place in early May.
Coming off of dominating victories at both Gfinity Spring Masters as well as the StarSeries Season 12 LAN Finals, EnVyUs is the current #1 CS:GO team in the GosuGamers world rankings. Thus, it is no surprise that DreamHack has chosen the Frenchmen to play at the Open Tours event on May 9th-10th.
There will be three more teams soon handed direct invites to the tournament, which will be held in the French city of Tours. Four more squads will round out the list of attending teams via qualifiers. As a result, the final list of participants will feature a total of eight teams. Also worth noting is that the event boasts a $40,000 prize pool.
An online qualifier hosted by FACEIT will grant the top two teams berths in the tournament. The other two spots are to be filled by the winners of a BYOC qualifier that will be held at the event itself.
