PlayStation accidentally reveals Stellar Blade’s PC release date

PlayStation quietly pulled a trailer, after accidentally revealing Stellar Blade’s PC release date and a glimpse at what’s coming in the Complete Edition.

PlayStation has inadvertently revealed the PC release date for Stellar Blade, with a now-removed trailer confirming the game is set to launch on 11 June, 2025. The video was briefly published on the official PlayStation YouTube channel before being taken down, but not before keen-eyed fans were able to make copies.

Complete Edition brings technical upgrades and new content

The trailer introduced a Complete Edition of Shift Up’s hit PlayStation 5 action-RPG, packed with upgrades designed for Windows players. Among the new features are AI upscaling and frame generation (supporting Nvidia DLSS 4 and AMD FSR 3), unlocked framerates (with footage showing the game running over 120 FPS without DLSS), and enhanced environments in higher resolution. It will also support Ultrawide displays (5:4 to 32:9), Japanese and Chinese voiceovers, and full DualSense controller compatibility.

In addition to technical improvements, players can look forward to a new boss fight against Mann and 25 new outfits for Eve. The Complete Edition will also bundle in all previously released DLC, including crossover cosmetics from Nier: Automata, and appears to offer bonus items for pre-orders.

ShiftUp has already confirmed Stellar Blade's PC release since November 2024, before confirming a June release window earlier this year. An upcoming Nikke DLC will arrive in the same month.

Stellar Blade was a major success for Korean developer Shift Up, earning US$43 million in royalties during its last financial year. The PS5 version sold over one million copies in just two months, and the studio anticipates even stronger numbers for the PC launch. Plans for a follow-up title are reportedly under consideration.
