The first map of the $250,000 grand finals started on de_dust2, where NiP started off strong on the T side by winning the preliminary pistol round as well as the two following anti-eco rounds, before LDLC managed to make a swift comeback by winning four rounds in a row, making the score 4-3. A series of round exchanges then occured, as NiP eventually reigned supreme, ending the first half at a 9-6 scoreline. The second pistol round started with LDLC pushing mid causing all of the NiP players to rotate, but eventually faked it out to B as the Frenchmen secured a flawless pistol round. The French team then proceeded to take an amazing eight rounds in a row before NiP finally managed to get one, but LDLC then just closed off the map by winning two more rounds, ending the map in a dominating 16-10 fashion.

The next map was de_inferno, Team LDLC's pick. The French team started off by winning the first pistol round as well as one more anti-eco, but was abruptly stopped by a five man stack on B side by NiP. A series of round exchanges eventually lead to a close 5-4 scoreline in favour of the Swedish team. The 10th round saw friberg get an amazing eco 3k at B side, leading to a great six round win streak by NiP, ending the first half 11-4. NiP took the second pistol round on their T side and eventually closed off a perfect second half, ending the map 16-4.

The final map of the BO3 grand finals, de_overpass started with f0rest getting an amazing headshots only 3k and maikele also getting a very impressive 2k. LDLCZ-75 decided to force buy with armour and CZ's with great success, winning the round. However, NiP decided to make a force buy of themselves with P90s and scouts, this time without avail. After a series of round exchanges, the score ended at 11-4 including a great 3k by GeT_RiGhT on the 11th round. The second pistol round had NiP pushing towards B site, but was instantly shut down by LDLC as they had their four man stack on the site. The Frenchmen then took two more anti-eco rounds in a row, but was stopped by NiP round after round as the Swedish team made the score 13-7. Team LDLC then took two more rounds as NiP took one, forcing the French team to eco at 14-8. However, LDLC did not go down without a fight as they pulled out an eco win, forcing NiP to eco themselves, making the score a nailbiting 14-13. However, NiP finally woke up and took one more round, making it map, match and tournament point. Two more great rounds from LDLC forced NiP to go into overtime in arguably the most intense map of the tournament.

LDLC took the first round of overtime, only with a swift reply from NiP that equalized the score at 16-16. LDLC took the final round of the first half of overtime, making the score 17-16 in favour of LDLC on the CT side.
