KingCrimson - the former star player of 64AMD and Romania's finest WarCraft 3 player is resigning. He has deleted WarCraft 3 on his computer, and has forgot the scene of Azeroth. He has his mind set on another scene - Hollywood!
In a forum thread at SK-Gaming.com he announces his resignation.
- I just deleted Warcraft III from my computer and I'm quitting the game forever, he says. KingCrimson was a talented Human player and an important player in the old team 64AMD. When 64AMD disappeared, he has been in a few clans, and the latest and apparently also last clan he will appear in was in former QPool.int. His reason for leaving is his college studies where he is studying to become a film director.
"People need to get a lot more professional"
In an interview with Mercy at MeetYourMakers, KingCrimson talks a bit more about him quitting WarCraft 3 and his future plans. Mercy asks on his view on the future for professional games like WarCraft and StarCraft. On that, Crimson answers that people need to get a lot more professional.
- Currently, only a handful of teams offer serious contracts to their players. Crimson also says that if the players and the community get more mature, the sponsors will be more attracted and more money can be invested into the games.
Hoping for some kind of comeback soon is not to think of, as that would mean that KingCrimson has failed in film directing. GosuGamers wishes him the very best of luck in the future and in Hollywood!
