Dayfly leaves the World Elite

[s]clan_news[/s]

Well, the clan at least. Dayfly has gone inactive, and it is sad, both for the team and the fans. It was quite recently announced by Replays.NET, that the Korean Orc star Dayfly has decided to step down and leave the squad. Translated by minicoocoo at WCReplays, three reasons were given out.

The team World Elite, the Korean Chinese team filled with star players, was created 6 months ago, and is one of the most respected clans out there. They have made good results and have become well-known in not only the Korean/Chinese community, but also all over the world. Recently, an announcement was made on Replays.NET (sponsoring World Elite) saying that their Korean Orc star DayFly has stepped down from World Elite. In a translation at the WCReplays Scene News Forum, three reasons were given out:

1. Failed to achieve recognisable results, the promises made to clan WE were not fulfilled.
2. Failed to attend group meeting.
3. Need better players from elsewhere, the weak must be elimated.Further down, there is also a translated personal letter from DayFly to the fans, where he tells that reasons was no good accomplishments and failed to do the duties all the WE members were given, which were attending the weekyl IGE online tournament, release replays every week and produce a strategy report every month. He says that the duties are not difficult to do, but because of personality problems, he did not do them.

"They are small things in my view"

He wrote that he found those things unnecessary, and if there is no necessity to do something, he will not do it. He sees them as small things, and finds no reason to waste time on such things. And even if he should feel sad with leaving his clan, not reaching very far in major tournaments, he is still going strong.

WE senior management: DayFly is an alien

There are also translations on senior managers' posts as well, regarding DayFly's departure. He says that the reasons are as above (no good accomplishments, not wanting to to take part in WE activities), plus his "attitude problem". The senior management says that he is proud of the Chinese players who work so hard without any recognizable accomplishments yet. "But DayFly is an alien, nobody knows what he's thinking..."

A new player to World Elite?

In the translated announcement by the senior manager, there is one particular line that is very interesting: When there is a stronger player joining the clan, the weak must be eliminated. Does this mean we will see new World Elite player soon? Only time will tell.
