VCT Pacific Kickoff will begin on the second week of January 2025.
The VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) Pacific 2025 is set to ignite shortly after the New Year. In 2025, VCT Pacific teams will compete for a $250,000 USD prize pool, with the best teams getting the chance to represent the region in international tournaments.
Some changes to the format of each VCT tournament were announced in August, but further details on the upcoming tournaments have been revealed. Here’s everything you should know about VCT Pacific Season 2025.
VCT Pacific Kickoff marks the start of Season 2025
The first tournament of the year is VCT Pacific Kickoff, which begins on 18 January and runs until 9 February, spanning 12 days, with a double-elimination format.
Representatives from Champions 2024, namely 
Gen.G Esports, 
Paper Rex, 
DRX, and 
Talon Esports will be seeded into the second round of the upper bracket.
Meanwhile, the two new teams from VCT Ascension, 
Nongshim RedForce and 
BOOM Esports, will be placed at the opposite side of the bracket. The remaining teams will be placed through a random draw.
The top two teams will qualify for Masters Bangkok, where they will represent the Pacific in the first global event of the year, and the first-ever global VCT event to be held in Southeast Asia.
Stage 1 format
After Masters Bangkok comes Stage 1, starting with the Group Stage where teams will be divided into two groups of six, based on Kickoff performance.
Here the teams will compete in a single Round Robin format. The top four from each group will advance to the Playoffs where they will compete in a double-elimination bracket.
The Stage 1 champion and the top 2 and 3 teams will qualify for Masters Toronto, the second global event of the season.
Stage 2: Reshuffled groups and playoffs![]()
Following Masters Toronto, teams will return to regional competition, with groups reshuffled based on Stage 1 standings.
Stage 2 follows the previous stage's Group Stage and Playoffs format, with the winner claiming the VCT Pacific Champions title, and will be the region’s first seed into Champions 2025. Championship points will determine two additional qualifiers for Champions 2025.
