The VALORANT Champions Tour 2024: Masters Shanghai continues with a playoff series after the conclusion of the Swiss stage, eliminating four teams in the process. Eight teams remained to fight for the one million USD prize pool and the coveted Champions points. Which team will be eliminated, and which will go on to glory?

After the conclusion of the Swiss Stage, four teams were eliminated from the tournament. They are T1, FunPlus Phoenix, Dragon Ranger Gaming, and Leviatán. The other four will meet the champions of every VCT Region in the playoff. The four that joined the playoff were G2 Esports, Gen.G Esports, Team Heretics, and FUT Esports.

The champions can pick their opponent from a pool of four teams from the live draw in Masters Shanghai. The result went wild, creating exciting matches left, right, and centre.

The playoff will continue with two lower bracket bouts between all four losing teams from the upper bracket quarterfinals. Meanwhile, the winner from the upper bracket quarterfinals will meet at the upper bracket semifinals. The loser from the upper bracket semifinals will meet the winner of the lower bracket round 1 winner in the lower bracket quarterfinals. The loser of lower bracket bouts will be eliminated from the tournament.
