Finally, 100 Thieves announces the arrival of Boostio

2023 Valorant world champion Boostio officially joined 100 Thieves to complete their lineup.

Former Evil Geniuses In-game Leader and 2023 VALORANT World Champion Kelden "Boostio" Pupello officially joined 100 Thieves and completed their lineup. Boostio will accompany Asuna, bang, Cryocells, and eeiu in the new 100 Thieves for the 2024 season.

The announcement was made by 100 Thieves, showing the player was inside the jail and noting the 4 months of sabbatical he endured before joining another team.

With Boostio leaving Evil Geniuses, only one player remains from the organization, and it still isn't clear what his future is. The mentioned player is Alexander “jawgemo” Mor. C0M already announced that Evil Geniuses released him alongside Boostio and ScrewFace.

Previously, Max “Demon1” Mazanov and Ethan “Ethan” Arnold were announced first as NRG's players before the turn of the new year. With Boostio joining 100 Thieves, the landscape of VALORANT might change slightly.

A new face of VALORANT

Demon1 and Ethan's departure from Evil Geniuses and Boostio's arrival to 100 Thieves might paint a new face in the VALORANT community. Especially after the previous World Champion isn't together anymore.

100 Thieves can secure up-and-coming new talent from Canada in the form of Daniel “eeiu” Vucenovic. Combined with Boostio's leadership, 100 Thieves finally have the experience, camaraderie, and talent to compete for the top prize with the trio of Asuna, bang, and Cryocells.

Previously, they relied on new talent only with Derrek and Stellar. However, that proves insufficient as they bow out in 8th place in the VCT Americas 2023.

NRG, on the other hand, has a lot of potential with their previous iteration before the arrival of their new lineup. They have the experience of Som and ardiis combined with the maverick FNS as their core strength. However, this proved unfruitful as they could only achieve runner-up in the league, losing to the reigning champion, LOUD.

With a new superteam roster, expectations were high for NRG to win it all on the big stage. Demon1, Ethan, and Marved come to complete the lineup of crashies, as well as Victor. However, it is a long way until a new season starts.
