Early access players revealed more details about Iso’s abilities.
Influencers got their hands early on Iso and the Episode 7 Act 3 content. Fans saw Iso’s gameplay and the different interactions with his abilities.
His Contingency ability is similar to Harbor’s wall but the wall is bulletproof. All agents and abilities can pass through the wall. The speed of the wall can outrun Skye’s Trailblazer or Fade’s Prowler so make sure to use them first before Iso use contingency.
When executing a site, it’s important to note which abilities can strategically pass the wall, especially flashes. Yoru on his Dimensional Drift and Reyna on Dismiss can also walk through it with the speed boost. Raze and Jett can also outrun the Contingency due to their faster mobility.
The Double Tap might feel like you are playing Aimlabs but it is one of the most effective Iso skills. The invulnerability refreshes once you get another orb from killing an enemy. This means getting multiple enemy kills prolongs the timer and gives Iso a huge advantage for his next fight.
Kill Contract, his ultimate ability, takes you to an interdimensional arena on a 1v1 battle where all abilities are disabled. If none of the players dies inside the dimension, both players are eliminated from the round.
Iso’s ultimate can also be helpful during post-plant situations. Players can use it on the defuser to buy time for the spike to explode.
Iso can take Yoru’s clone and Phoenix on his ult inside the domain so be careful when using it when they are nearby. After using his ultimate, Phoenix will resurrect first after being killed inside the domain. This will give him the advantage and time to locate Iso’s body before it spawned back.
There is also an ongoing visual bug on Omen when Iso takes him to his domain when Omen is in his ultimate. Riot developers are looking into it and they are hoping to fix the bug before Iso hits the public servers.
