Have you ever imagined a G.O.A.T of esports, Lee “Faker” Sang-Hyeok, taking photos with the best Mobile Legends Players in the world?
In probably the best timeline for esports bizarreness, undoubtedly one of the greatest esports talent in the world right now, Lee Sang-Hyeok, better known as Faker met with the best of Mobile Legends players in the Esports World Cup and took a photo together with his signature pose. This is one of the most hype moments of the Esports World Cup, and it just started.
Faker took photos with Fnatic ONIC’s Kiboy; EVOS Glory's Taxstump and Age; Liquid Echo’s Sanford, KarlTzy, Bennyqt; and Falcons AP.Bren’s Flaptzy. Some of those talents even admitted that Faker is their Idol, bolstering his G.O.A.T aura even more.
Faker was known worldwide for his achievement in League of Legends, establishing his dynasty with T1, winning four world championships, two mid-season championships, and ten national league tournaments. He is the undoubted greatest League of Legends player of all time with a hall of fame erected in his name inside the game itself.
This is not the only case of the best from both worlds happening in the Esports World Cup. Previously, Former LEC caster Quickshot hosted the opening ceremonies for this enormous event. He had a plethora of guests coming to his desk, which included Danny Aarons from the FIFA and Football community; Tyler1 from the League of Legends community; Ralf Reichert, the founder of SK Gaming, former professional Quake player, and EWC Foundation’s CEO; Katie Bedford from Warzone; Jayz from MLBB; and many more.
And this is just the beginning, we can assume, as the Esports World Cup will last for the majority of summer with twenty-two titles competed in the event. It will be even more interesting to see Rocket League players hanging out with Mobile Legends’ best or Warzone specialists to team up with r1’s athletes.
