Chinese Dota 2 has released their own webpage on Dota2.com and will be going live in about three hours time. Simple instructions on how to activate the limited Dota 2 keys and a guide to sync current players' Steam account are also available on the site.
As reported in our patch note news a few days ago, the Chinese Dota 2 server ,dubbed "Perfect World Server", will be up and running in about three hours time.
Chinese fans may download the Chinese Dota 2 client on Dota2.com.cn. Also on the website are simple instructions on how new players can activate some of the very limited Dota 2 beta keys distributed.
Besides that, included in the client is a feature to fully sync the players' current Steam account with the client's account so that existing players do not end up losing all of their cosmetics and in-game tickets.
Perfect World announced on the 19th of April that they will be releasing the mini version of Steam and they did not disappoint nor were they releasing it on Valve-time. Perfect World stated that the client is due for release on the 28th of April.
According to SGamer, the main reason for the new Chinese client is due to the slow updates from Steam servers to China which may be a huge turn-off for current players.
