CEO of Na'Vi, Alexander 'ZeroGravity' Kohanovsky tweeted that the team will be undergoing some changes in the upcoming days possibly due to the massive drop in performance they are suffering recently.
Na'Vi's slump recently is known to many and people on forums are mostly angry if not baffled by why the runner-up of The International 2 is performing so badly when everything looks so good just months ago.
Many have discussed what was wrong with the team but nobody knew the team better than Na'Vi's own management.
Approximately two hours ago, the CEO of the prestigious Natus Vincere, Alexander 'ZeroGravity' Kohanovsky, tweeted that their Dota 2 team may be undergoing some changes in the next few days.
EG's captain, Jacob 'Maelk' Toft-Andersen, was quick to respond to Kohanovsky tweet expressing surprise. "I honestly didn't expect this the way you powered through TI2.
"Or do you mean they're just getting haircuts?", joked Maelk.
Besides that, many of the high profilers in the Dota scene have tweeted in response to the "announcement" although most of them are just joking around.
With the announcement on Twitter, a topic was started in our forums and it has quickly exploded into a big discussion on who Na'Vi will remove and who will be filling the gap.
GGnet user Volzotan, claimed that he heard Alexander 'XBOCT' Dashkevich stating, the new team will consist of himself, Dendi, Puppey plus two new members.
Dashkevich is also known for trolling and his statement on his stream is not reliable enough to be taken seriously.
Heated debate in the forums seems to be pointed at Na'Vi's offlaner, Dmitriy 'LightOfHeaven' Kupriyanov, leaving due to his commitments for World of Warcraft and/or personal life.
We have reached out to Na'Vi's captain, Clement 'Puppey' Ivanov, for an interview yesterday morning about the current conditioning of his team but was politely turned down and he rescheduled the interview to next week instead.
The changes should be happening before next week.
Na'Vi Dota 2 is currently competing in a variety of tournament and is currently placed second in EMS One ranking.
Apart from that, Na'Vi is underperforming in other online competitions like RaidCall D2L Season 2 (10th place) and StarLadder Star Series V (14th place).
Na'Vi just broke a four game losing streak, possibly the longest losing streak they had since their formation in November 2011, against RoX.KIS in the third cup of EMS One.
The cards are all up in the air. What kind of changes do you think Na'Vi will bring into their Dota 2 team?
Stay tuned to Gosugamers as we bring you the latest updates on Na'Vi.
