PARIVISION have claimed their first tournament victory just over two months after the roster was formed.
PARIVISION will be ending the 2024 Dota 2 season on a high note after they claimed the championship of ESL One Bangkok 2024 with a 3-1 victory over The International (TI) 2024 champions 
Team Liquid in the best-of-five grand finals on Sunday (December 15).
With their victory, PARIVISION will be going home with the grand prize of $300,000 out of the tournament's $1 million prize pool. This marks the first tournament victory for PARIVISION since the roster was formed in October. With Top 4 finishes in the four other events they competed in to go with their victory in ESL One Bangkok 2024, PARIVISION will be heading into 2025 as a new power in the Dota 2 scene.
Meanwhile, Liquid settle for second place and $175,000 in consolation. While the reigning TI champions' run in the lower bracket to get to the grand finals was an incredible feat, they fall short of claiming ultimate victory in Bangkok.
Liquid didn't have the best start to ESL One Bangkok 2024, as they only managed a 1-3 record in the opening day of the Group Stage. However, they managed to improve their record to 4-6, which was enough for them to sneak to the Playoffs and start in the lower bracket.
In stark contrast, PARIVISION looked dominant all throughout the tournament and were the first team to qualify for the Playoffs in just the second day of the Group Stage. PARIVISION defeated AVULUS in the upper bracket semifinals before taking down BetBoom Team in the upper bracket finals to become the first team in the grand finals.
Meanwhile, Liquid went on an incredible run in the lower bracket to earn the right to challenge PARIVISION in the championship round. Liquid first swept Shopify Rebellion in the first round of the lower bracket then took down Team Falcons in three games at the lower bracket quarterfinals, all in the same day.
In the penultimate day of the tournament, Liquid defeated Team Spirit in another three-game thriller in the lower bracket semifinals. The final day of ESL One Bangkok 2024 then saw the reigning TI champions outlast BetBoom Team in the lower bracket finals to advance to the grand finals against PARIVISION.
Liquid started the grand finals strong by winning game one. However, PARIVISION bounced back and won three games in a row to claim the 3-1 grand finals victory and the championship of ESL One Bangkok 2024.
