DK fight their way back into the group

DK beat LGD.int 2-1 today, thus causing LGD.int their first loss, and also getting a much needed point in the group, resulting in the group being very open to win at the moment.

Game 1:

Game 1 saw an offensive trilane by DK. They had kill potential but MiSeRy- and 1437 rotated a lot and made life hard for the other lanes, forcing Dai and QQQ to rotate as well. G’s Sven in the midlane got good farm and resorted to ganking as well. DK fought a lot at the bottom lane, even though the tier 1 tower was still standing, enabling LGD.int to tp in. DK gave away a lot of kills when trying to push, cornering themselves to hope for a good lategame. LGD.int however controlled the map and made it very hard for DK to farm. Thus, DK had no way of stopping both Lone Druid as well as Sven, resulting in a game 1 loss.

Game 2:

DK banned out the hero that granted LGD.int the most success lately - Chen, played by MiSeRy-. LGD.int wanted to try shutting down BurNing and sent their trilane to the botlane, with Windrunner as the primary farmer instead of Sven, most likely due to it being harder to farm as a melee on an offensive trilane. It started alright with them finding some kills on BurNing, but losing a few heroes in return. The game was cut rather short though, as Super's Beastmaster reigned supreme, controlling the map together with constant TPs into the trilane from rOtk. The Necrolyte from LGD.int didn't have much impact at all, mostly getting his mana burned by Dai and the game quickly settled into DK's victory with BurNing's Lone Druid getting farmed and Dai and Super controlling all the skirmishes.

Game 3:

LGD.int opted for a contested trilane as always, this one being slightly questionable on paper since Dazzle doesn't bring that high amount of damage or control to a lane with Shadow Demon and Kunkka. BurNing still managed to get farm with the help of his supports. Game 3 was a story of superior lanes by DK, the trilane went well and they had heroes with larger impact on the mid and late game. Mid was fairly even, and rOtk beat Brax in the third lane. BurNing was farming the entire time while Super helped his team control the teamfights. LGD.int started walking around as five without getting any experience or farm, although they did get some towers. DK had the advantages overall, better item progression as well as a better hero synergy, and won all the major team fights. LGD.int were struggling uphill from early on, and eventually DK sealed the deal.

Final thoughts:

LGD.int really likes to contest the opposing team's trilane and sometimes when they don't even have a favourable trilane themselves. This makes them very reliant on the solo lanes going their way. DK managed to win 2 to 3 of their lanes in the last two games, with Chen being banned so MiSeRy- couldn't push out the trilane and cause early rotations. Thus DK get their much needed point for a won match, and it seems like Lone Druid is the carry with most success as of late.
