MSI DotA Tournament 2011

Been thirsting for some Malaysian DotA action? Wait no more as MSI Malaysia continues its DotA Tournament series for 2011.

With its inception in 2010, the MSI DotA Tournament was considered a mini-SMM with qualifiers running through different states in Malaysia cumulating in a Grand Finals playoff.

The success of its first year have made them decide to continue the tournament for 2011, this time bigger than ever. There will be ten qualifiers altogether, one team from each qualifier round will be able to play in the Grand Final.

Two of the ten qualifiers will be held in East Malaysia which is a first for the tournament. To ensure that the East Malaysian teams will be able to compete in the Grand Finals, the two winning teams will be recieving return tickets to KL for the Grand Finals.

After each qualifier, there will be a special DotA workshop held by Malaysian superstar players Chan "Winter" Litt-Binn and Chai "Mushi" Yee Fung. The workshop will include lessons such as drafting guides, laning, supporting and many more. Players aspiring to improve should take this chance to learn from the pros as the lessons will be free.

Besides the DotA workshops, for the kick-off qualifiers and the Grand Final, there will be a special showmatch between MSI's newly appointed gaming ambassador, Tan "Shizuma" Lyn Xhin, and another renowned local player. Another treat to all DotA fans of Malaysia.
