With two international tournaments alongside the 33rd SEA Games, 2025 will be a packed year for Mobile Legends esports.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) developer MOONTON Games revealed the games' esports road map for 2025, with the M World Championship series and the Mid Season Cup (MSC) MSC 2025 returning. The host countries for both events will be announced on December 15, during the Grand Finals of the M6 World Championship.
The MSC 2025 will occur from mid-July to early August 2025 while the M7 World Championship will return in January 2026. Running before and in between those two international tournaments will be the MLBB Professional Leagues (MPL). The first half of MPL will run from early March to late June while the second half will take place from late August to early November.
MOONTON have also expanded the reach of the regional leagues by establishing the new Chinese league.
Aside from the international tournaments and regional leagues, the 2025 MLBB esports calendar will also include a host of third-party tournaments such as the Snapdragon Pro Series. The Snapdragon Pro Series Mobile Challenge Finals will take place next February, followed by the Snapdragon Pro Series Mobile Masters in April and the Snapdragon Pro Series New Season from August to November.
The 2025 MLBB esports calendar will then conclude with the 33rd SEA Games 2025 in Thailand in December. The event will have both Men’s and Women’s medal events.
In addition to the MLBB 2025 Esports Roadmap, the developer also revealed plans to create an esports ecosystem for Magic Chess: Go Go (MCGG) after its official launch next year. The tournaments will start in Indonesia and gradually expand to the rest of Southeast Asia.
The announcement of the 2025 roadmap was held at the M6 Summit, where MOONTON Games signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Jordan Esports Federation (JEF) to develop the gaming and esports ecosystem in Jordan. The agreement will see both parties combine resources to host MLBB esports events and educational programs, as well as national qualifiers to uncover Jordanian talents who can compete on the global stage.
With next year packed with both regional and international tournaments, 2025 is looking to be a busy year for MLBB fans and players alike.
