The Myanmar representatives gave a passionate plea following their elimination from the M6 World Championship.

Burmese Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) powerhouseFalcon Esports have made an impassioned request to MOONTON Games to bring back the MLBB Professional League (MPL) to Myanmar four years after the league was put on an indefinite hiatus.

Falcon Esports made their public request in a press conference following their Top 6 finish in the M6 World Championship resulting from their loss to  Team Spirit in the lower bracket quarterfinals of the Knockout Stage.

Yehtet “KidX” Sithu spoke for the team and even presented a signed request “from all of Myanmar's people” to bring back MPL Myanmar in 2025. The team's Filipino analyst, Rodel “Ar Sy” Cruz, even bolstered his players' request, saying he would sacrifice a chance to compete with a Filipino team to instead come to Myanmar in 2025 as a coach.

MPL Myanmar was last hosted in November 2020 with the conclusion of its fifth season, with the league's sixth season being halted because of the unrest that impacted the country in February 2021.

Since then, the MPL hasn’t made a return to the country. However, a qualifier was made in Myanmar every time MLBB had a major international esports tournament to ensure the country still had representation. This is how Falcon Esports became a constant presence in the MLBB esports scene.

Myanmar has always been a part of MLBB’s legacy, with Burmese Ghouls participating in the M1 and M2 World Championships. However, the legacy was disrupted after the country didn't receive an invite to the M3 World Championship. They then returned to the M4 World Championship with Falcon Esports representing Myanmar from the qualifier. In M5, Burmese Ghouls returned to represent the country again after missing the past two years.

With the situation in Myanmar stabilising and Falcon Esports' strong performance in the M6 World Championship, the Burmese squad's request for their country's league to return is very timely.

MOONTON Games has yet to respond to Falcons Esports' request at the time of publishing.
