The speculations after the two players weren't registered among Team Liquid ID’s roster for the M6 World Championship were made true by the team.
Team Liquid ID announced both James “Jeymz” Gloria and Tristan “YAWI” Cabrera are now out of the team as they marched onto the M6 World Championship Swiss Stage.
This decision wasn't surprising after their exclusion from the team since the third week of the MLBB Professional League (MPL) Indonesia Season 14. Furthermore, the two players weren't included in Team Liquid ID's roster for the M6 World Championship.
Team Liquid ID bid farewell and expressed their gratitude to Yawi for having been a part of the team since February 2024, when they were still AURA Fire. Yawi helped the team reach the Playoffs in MPL Indonesia Season 13 and was one of the highlights of Team Liquid's takeover of STUN.GG, the owner of AURA and ECHO.
However, Yawi's time was cut short in MPL Indonesia Season 14 after Team Liquid ID promoted their academy player, Christian “Widy” Hartono, in August 2024. Coincidentally, the team's revival started with three of Team Liquid Academy ID's promotions. After Widy's arrival, Yawi fell further out of favour, and the former academy player replaced his position in the team.
While his time with the team was short, Jeymz was one of the most exciting prospects in MPL Indonesia Season 14. Before arriving on the Indonesian scene, he played a crucial part in Team Liquid Academy PH (then ECHO Proud), winning the championship of the MLBB Development League (MDL) PH Season 2 and finishing third place in MDL PH Season 3.
Yawi had made a name for himself as one of the best roamers in the world during his tenure in Team Liquid PH (then ECHO), when he won the M4 World Championship, shutting down Blacklist International in the grand final with a 4-0 scoreline. He was known as a Chou specialist as he was undefeated with the hero during the fourth edition of the M World Series.
With their release from Team Liquid ID, Yawi and Jeymz are now free to search for other ventures for their career.
