Blacklist International co-founder and co-owner Tryke Gutierrez addressed his former players who joined Aurora for MPL PH Season 14.
Tryke Gutierrez, co-founder and co-owner of Blacklist International, addressed his former member who left the team and joined Aurora for the next MPL Phillippines season. From the video posted on his social media, Tryke also admitted he didn't know if he wanted to speak or just ignore it and not share his side of the story to let everything pass. However, he knew that people wanted a different perspective before they could come up with what they thought really happened based on his time on the internet.
"For weeks, I didn't know if I wanted to speak, if I wanted to ignore it, if I just let everything pass and not share my side of the story. Having been on the internet for a while now, I know that people want different perspectives before they can come up with what they think really happened. So I owed it to everyone to share our side of the story." said Tryke in the video.
"I wouldn't have been proud if I spoke out during the heat of the moment. I was angry and fuming, and I wasn't in a good headspace while everything was happening."
He also admitted that although he felt disappointed because he felt that they had one last run to do before their contracts expired in six months, he followed what the former members wanted and helped them get in contact with the organisations.
“If they don't want to be part of your plan, it won't result in anything good,” stated Tryke.
However, after some time passed, Tryke felt happy for them and respected their decision because he saw how happy and excited his former members were about the new journey they were going to get into. For the future, he wanted to move on and find his next move. He tried to solve the problem instead of getting angry. He also thanked the fans for giving him and Blacklist International a chance to compete.
“So, for us, what's next? You have to move on and find your next move. Instead of getting angry, we tried to solve the problem.” He continued: "What we can do for the fans who have supported us is to give us a chance to compete. I am grateful to the fans who liked and supported us because I saw that they're still there for Blacklist. Let's see each other in-game."
