This week in MLBB: MSC 2024 grabs our full attention

This week is MLBB we will be turning all our attention to MSC 2024, as the 16 teams are all set and ready to get things rolling at the EWC in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

On Wednesday, July 3rd, the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid Season Cup 2024 kicks off with its Group Stage from the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. All our attention will be on the sixteen teams that will be fighting their way through a grueling Group Stage, as they try to make their way into the Playoffs and become the champions of the first MSC beyond the borders of Southeast Asia.

MSC goes big

While we have seen some amazing action from the tournament in the past, this year has seen the event rebrand from the Southeast Asia Cup to the Mid-Season Cup, bringing in teams from around the world to test their strength against one another. However, this is far from the only major change, as the event moves outside of SEA and through to an international battlefield – this time being the EWC. With that comes a gigantic prize pool of $3,000,000, which will be on the minds of fans and players alike, as each team goes into the tournament.

After an amazing Wildcard Tournament over the recent weekend, we saw HomeBois claim the final spot in the tournament, and the teams have already been drawn into their four groups. Following the Group Stage, only two teams from each group will make it through to the playoffs, so there is everything to play for right from the start. The list of teams heading into the MSC 2024 Group Stage is as follows:

Group A

EVOS Glory
Fire Flux Esports
NIP Flash
RRQ Akira

Group B

Fnatic ONIC
See You Soon
Red Giants Esports
Team Falcons

Group C

HomeBois
Liquid Echo
Team Spirit
Twisted Minds

Group D

Cloud9
Falcon Esports
Falcons AP.Bren
Xianyou Gaming

With an entire five days of exciting Group Stage action from MSC 2024, there is no lack of MLBB for us to watch this week. The teams are set and everyone is ready for the Esports World Cup to get underway as we begin the search for the next champion of MSC.
