MLBB: MPL SG and MENA enter their playoffs this week

June is upon us, and we have blasted through many MPL tournaments – with this week all our attention turning to Singapore for its playoffs.

It has been a crazy few weeks for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, with multiple regions seeing their Professional Leagues come to an end, and many champions being crowned – and a plethora of teams qualifying to the Mid Season Cup 2024. This week will see us turn our attention to Singapore, as their MPL reaches the playoff stage of Season 7 and a champion is found. As we get ever closer to MSC 2024, things may get a little quiet soon, but not this week.

MPL Singapore blasts forward

Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines have all seen their Mobile Legends Professional League events come to an end for the first part of 2024, and Singapore is next on the cards. From June 14, the remaining six teams will begin their journey in the playoffs, as they hope to take down the competition and become champions. Unlike the other regions, MPL SG works slightly differently in playoffs, with no instant elimination in the first round – as teams will have a second life from day one.

Team Flash, Asteris, Bleed Esports, and RSG Singapore are the four teams already in the upper bracket, while Vanguard Esports and EVIL will be awaiting lower bracket challengers. This season has already seen quite a big surprise from Asteris, the open qualifier squad, who have shown off their brilliance and taken some impressive victories. But with everything now on the line, the team will be hoping that the pressure is not too much – especially considering their first opponent is none other than Team Flash.

MPL MENA is not to be forgotten

While we have often focused on a few specific regions, MOONTON has spread MLBB to a global stage, and the Middle East & North Africa has certainly caught our attention a lot in recent times. MENA has the fifth season of its MPL drawing to a close this weekend too, with four teams fighting for the final spoils – including TWO spots at MSC 2024. The region kicks off its playoff stage on June 13, as we go in search of a champion.

With the last of the MPL events before MSC 2024 heading our way this weekend, it is the perfect time to catch some special MLBB action from these regions. We will continue to keep you up to date on all the information from the MPL, as well as further information on the Esports World Cup and MSC 2024 in the coming weeks.
