Rebellion Esports upsets RRQ Hoshi while EVOS Glory is still winless in MPL Indonesia S13

Upset city as Rebellion Esports took down RRQ Hoshi while EVOS Glory is still winless in 3 matches in MPL Indonesia S13.

Rebellion Esports brought an upset city to MPL Indonesia Season 13 after they took down RRQ Hoshi in a 2-0 rout. In both games, Rebellion Esports' Jungler Vincentt outclassed his opponent when securing objectives to take home the MVP title from the series.

The first game between the two teams is done very quickly, as RRQ Hoshi, times and times again, failed to anticipate Baxia's rotation. Seventy per cent kill participation inside 11 minutes with no deaths makes Vincentt the crucial piece in the slaughter of RRQ Hoshi.

Not trying to replicate the first game failure, RRQ Hoshi is back using Tank Jungler to try to contest objectives better rather than using Joy. The result is immediate, with RRQ Hoshi securing the early game.

Back-and-forth net-worth swing happened between the two teams as they tried to one-up one another in fights for the Lord's servitude. In minute 20, RRQ Hoshi's downfall started when an offensive attempt at Rebellion Esports failed.

The king of kings' fate was sealed when Rebellion Esports secured the Lord using Novaria's Astral Sphere. One aggression to RRQ Hoshi's base was enough for The Rebel as they secured the 2-0 win from RRQ Hoshi.

On the other hand, EVOS Glory can still not secure their first win in three matches when facing AURA Fire in Week 2. The team led by Yawi comfortably won 2-0 against the M1 World Champion.

This marks EVOS Glory's third loss in MPL Indonesia S13. To put salt in the wound, they are still unable to secure 1 game inside the three series, making them rock bottom at the moment in MPL Indonesia S13's leaderboard.

The question remains for the White Tiger squad: Can they finally get their first win of the season when they take on eighth-place dweller Geek Fam?

Meanwhile, AURA Fire finally secured their first win after a disappointing debut against Dewa United and a loss against RRQ Hoshi in Week 1. This victory against EVOS Glory makes them 1-2 in 3 series and a great start before they face Rebellion Esports later this week.
