Vren, the current world champion coach, will leave his position at AP.Bren to join RRQ Hoshi for the upcoming season of Mobile Legends esports.
Current world champion coach Vrendon "Vren" Pesebre will take RRQ Hoshi's head coach position in the upcoming season of Mobile Legends esports. Vren will leave his throne in AP.Bren to lead the Indonesia team to their former glory with a new lineup in MPL Indonesia Season 13.
As a coach, Vren has experience playing in MPL Indonesia. He is the coach of Bigetron Alpha back in Season 10, guiding them to a fourth-place finish. However, his time in Indonesia was cut short after the team let go of him to return to Phillippines.
Back in Phillippines, he led Bren Esports to another fourth-place finish in MPL Phillippines Season 11 before finally winning the league in Season 12 as AP.Bren.
Zaya "Zaya" Win Paing, the former coach of Falcon Esports, will be his partner-in-crime in guiding the new face of RRQ Hoshi. The Indonesian giant will also name nine players in their lineup.
RRQ Hoshi's MPL ID Season 13 lineup:
- Andre “Banana” Putra;
- Ramadhoni "Donn";
- Ferdyansyah “Ferxiic” Kamaruddin;
- John “Irrad” Abarquez;
- Deden “Clay” Nurhasan;
- Muhamad “Octa” Maulana;
- Schevenko “Skylar” Tendean;
- Safril "Bunnyqt";
- Borris “Brusko” Parro;
With a mix of fresh talent and experience, Vren has an array of talent to choose from to be his most comfortable lineup. Also, with two players from the Philippines, the head coach hopefully will have no difficulty translating his strategy to other players in the team.
The most interesting addition to RRQ Hoshi will be Bunnyqt from the champion of MDL Season 8, Bossque, also known as Tiger Wong Esports. The player is clearly a standout in the developmental league. He is the MVP in both the regular season and the final.
With Bunnyqt, Donn, and Octa, RRQ Hoshi already amassed three of five players from the MDL Season 8 team of the tournament. It's interesting if they will be the main force of the new RRQ Hoshi or if they will stay with the old guard.
The spotlight is now on the young coach to prove himself in a newly formed RRQ Hoshi.
