Former SEA Dota 2 pro player Khezcute is now the head coach of Bigetron Alpha!
MPL Indonesia's team, Bigetron Alpha, recruited former BOOM Esports Dota 2 professional player Alfi "Khezcute" Nelphyana as their head coach for the upcoming season, MPL Indonesia Season 13. He will take Aldo's place as head coach.
This will be the debut of Khezcute in the MPL scene as a head coach. Previously, he coached Pajajaran Esports and guided them to win the 2023 Esports National League (Liga Esports Nasional 2023), organized by Indonesia's esports body, PBESI.
He will be the 2nd coach in MPL Indonesia besides Adi, the current ONIC Esports coach known as Acil in his playing days.
The former Dota 2 player will be partnered with Razeboy and Falah as the technical coaching staff in Bigetron Alpha. However, the Indonesian team hasn't announced any players for the upcoming season yet.
Adding Khezcute can be a huge boost to Bigetron Alpha's campaign in the new season of MPL Indonesia or be a risk for them. As he is still new in the scene, it can bring a new perspective on how the game should be played. However, it still doesn't close the possibility of his momentum getting dragged by the other team in MPL.
Too early prediction of Bigetron Alpha's next season performance
Without knowing any players on the team, it is too early to make any prediction on Bigetron Alpha's campaign for next season. However, one thing that is almost certainly sure is their performance in-game will greatly differ from how they played last season.
If they put all their trust into Khezcute, it can be interesting to see how they will produce their lineup for the next season. If he keeps the playstyle like how Pajajaran Esports plays, we can expect something unexpected in their drafting process.
His experience in Dota 2 will come into play, too. As the captain of BOOM Esports back then, he is greatly involved in the drafting process alongside the coach.
I predict Bigetron will be sitting comfortably in the top 4 in MPL Indonesia Saason 13 with a chance to surprise everyone by taking down one of the strongest teams in the playoff.
