Moonton revealed the Mobile Legends esports roadmap for the year 2024. We take a look at what's inside.
Moonton has announced their 2024 esports roadmap for Mobile Legends. This roadmap will reveal what we can expect from the mobile MOBA for the upcoming season. With a system that already has a great foundation, we will look inside the competitive side of Mobile Legends for 2024.
The 2024 season will start with the first half of the official regional league by Moonton. The league will span from February to June 2024. With the first-tier league tournament already set in stone, there is an announcement for the second-tier league tournament. Accompanying the two MDLs (Indonesia and the Philippines) are the MAL or MLBB Academy League for Malaysia.
The ESL Snapdragon Pro Series will proceed after the conclusion of the first 2024 regional league season. The tournament will connect semi-pro and pro teams in Mobile Legends to compete against each other. It will be held in June 2024, according to the roadmap.
Every regional tournament is building up to the MSC 2024. Meanwhile, MSC's rebranding to Mid Season Cup might be the biggest announcement attracting everybody's attention. Now, teams outside of Southeast Asia can participate in the tournament, giving every region almost the same privilege without looking out of place like the 2023 edition.

After MSC 2024, it's time for the women's division to shine. The MLBB Women Invitational 2024, the third instalment of the series, will bring the best women's team in the world to compete for bragging rights this season. The tournament will be held in August 2024, before the second half of the regional league starts.
During October and November 2024, two big tournaments outside the regional league will be announced inside the roadmap. The second ESL Snapdragon Pro Series will be held in October 2024, while the Olympic-styled tournament, The 16th World Championship by IESF, is proceeding next.
The last tournament in the 2024 season will be the M6 World Championship, which will take place in Malaysia. This tournament will be the pinnacle of the 2024 season and crown the best MLBB team in the world.
Besides the MSC's rebranding and the inauguration of MAL, there isn't any big announcement concerning the esports side of Mobile Legends. However, as told above, it might be because the system already has a great foundation. More will be updated from Moonton, so stay tuned.
