MLBB: The M5 World Championship grabs our attention this week

This week in MLBB will see the M5 World Championship kick off its Group Stage, as the 16 participating teams are now confirmed and ready for action.

With the M5 Wildcard Tournament over, it is now time for us to look ahead to the main event, which begins on Saturday, November 2nd, 2023. Although the week will be quite boring for most, the teams will all be making their last-minute preparations, discussing strategies, and generally getting themselves prepared to enter the Land of Dawn and fight to become champions of the world in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.

M5 awaits a new champion

After Team SMG and Team Lilgun secured their spots at the M5 World Championship through the Wildcard Tournament, all 16 teams are now set in place. Over the next week, the teams will have a break to gather themselves and prepare for the coming tournament. Our eyes turn to the Group Stage, which will see four series a day, with one series from each group for each day.

The Group Stage runs from December 2nd through to the 7th, where we will end up losing a total of eight teams – the bottom two teams from each of the four groups. The top two teams from each group will move forward into the Knockout Stage where they will play in a double elimination bracket, with best-of-five series all the way through to a best-of-seven series for the grand finals.

While we may have a few days to relax, we are sure that the teams are deep in their planning phases, and we are waiting to see just what strategies the teams bring out one the M5 World Championship kicks off this coming weekend.
