Myanmar shocked the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang professional scene back at the M2 World Championship when Burmese Ghouls took an amazing second-place finish at the event. Having missed out on M3, the region returned with a blast for M4, as Falcon Esports showed that they are still a region to be feared at all times. Now, with the M5 World Championship approaching fast, the organisation which originally took the world by storm, Burmese Ghouls, returns to the M-Series, having taken an intense victory in the M5 World Championship Myanmar Qualifier.

Although many regions may have their own Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) or similar tournaments, Myanmar merely saw only a direct qualifier to the M5 World Championship, with four invited teams and four qualified teams fighting for the singular spot for the region at the event. While it may be a completely different team from the M2 hopefuls, Burmese Ghouls new roster will be looking to take their region all the way to the top and prove that they are a dominant force in MLBB.

Unfortunately, the likes of Falcon Esports, Mythic Seal, and the other Myanmar hopefuls, this year will not be their chance to shine, as Myanmar is only offered a singular spot at M5 – even with the Wildcard being a thing this year. It will be extremely interesting to see just what this BG squad can do, and if they can help the other regions finally put a stop to the dominance of the Philippines at the M-World Series.

We will have more information on the M5 World Championship in the coming weeks, including more team announcements from both the main event and the Wildcard.
