Indonesia struggle to get off the mark at the SEA Games

Indonesia’s dilemmas continue in the Men’s MLBB event at the 32nd SEA Games with a second loss making it near impossible for the team to reach the playoffs.

After a stunning series against Cambodia earlier today saw Indonesia lose their first best-of-one in the Men’s Mobile Legends: Bang Bang event at the 32nd Southeast Asia Games, the ID team’s problems have built up even more after a second loss was seen in their second game. While the Cambodians had the home ground advantage and the cheers of their fans to push them forward, Myanmar came out of nowhere to blindside the ID team.

Once again, much like Cambodia, Myanmar’s MLBB scene is nothing to be scoffed at, and the players present at the SEA Games are some that we have seen dominate in some events previously. However, with ID being one of the biggest regions in the game, it was assumed that they would have an easy run through Group B, but that definitely has not been the case. With the Falcon Esports roster as their second opponents, ID were unable to ever get a firm footing in the game, with Myanmar matching them across the map and getting their heads out in front by the mid-game period.

The final fight came around the Lord pit, as ID were wiped out and their chances of reaching the playoffs dropped even lower. For ID to make it through to the next round, they would require KH to lose their next two series, while needing other teams to also be assured of victory in certain occasions. The team’s final game will be tomorrow as they go up against Singapore, a region with a wealth of MLBB knowledge behind them. For today, ID will need to rethink their strategies going forward or submit to not making it through to the playoffs at the 32nd SEA Games.
