Perhaps the biggest threat to Team Vitality’s dominance, Team Falcons Vega, from Indonesia by way of the Snapdragon Pro Series, enters the MWI 2024.
Team Falcons Vega from Indonesia enters the MLBB Women’s Invitational 2024 through the Snapdragon Pro Series. Dubbed as the biggest threat to Team Vitality Female’s reign of dominance in the women’s MLBB ecosystem, Indonesia’s second-best team joined their compatriot with one mission: being the best by beating Team Vitality.
Everybody shouldn’t wonder who they are anymore, as they were the former GPX Basreng squad that pushed Team Vitality to the perfection they are today. They are the second favourite to win it all in the MLBB Women’s Invitational 2024, and perhaps with greater preparation, they can finally do it this year.

Stand in the shadow for far too long
For too many tournaments, Team Vitality dominated the women’s MLBB scene with their astonishing gameplay. But during the same period, Team Falcons Vega were the constant variable that always forced Team Vitality to play perfectly without faults.
Contrary to most of the team, Team Falcons Vega's qualification to the tournament wasn’t all that smooth sailing. They initially failed to reach the MWI 2024 stage from the WSL Season 8, where the winner was guaranteed a spot in the biggest tournament of women’s MLBB. They were beaten by Team Vitality (then Bigetron Era) in the final in a 4-1 loss.
A second chance came to them in the form of the Snapdragon Pro League by ESL, where the winner will also get a spot in the MWI 2024. This time, however, they aren’t playing only against fellow Indonesian teams but with teams all around Southeast Asia.
The four teams that stand in the finals are Falcons Vega, ONIC ZOL, Omega Empress, and their dreaded rivals, Team Vitality. Unfortunately, Team Falcons Vega wasn’t successful in beating Team Vitality in the tournament, as they lost twice: 2-0 in the upper bracket final and 3-0 in the grand finals. However, as Team Vitality already qualified for MWI 2024, their slot goes to Falcons Vega.
These losses fueled their already passionate players even more. Will they succeed in enacting their revenge this time?
The uncrowned queen of women’s MLBB
In a timeline where Team Vitality didn’t exist, Team Falcons Vega is probably the best women’s MLBB squad on the planet. With tons of experience and a solid lineup, they are the uncrowned queen of women’s MLBB.
When Team Vitality didn’t compete, it was almost a certainty that Team Falcons Vega won the tournament. Perhaps luck wasn’t on their side, or other factors were at hand; they couldn’t beat Team Vitality in every grand final they had together.
With a new name and a new spirit, here is the Team Falcons lineup in MWI 2024:
- Destria “Chincaaw” Chinca
- Fajria “Violet” Noviana
- Talitha Ambar “Thall” Maheswari
- Fanny Cynthia “Funi” Dewi
- Violetta “Caramel” Aurelia
- Meylane Carmelia “Meylane” Manek
- Angelia “Agatha” Agatha
VCX will lead these players to perform at a maximum capacity when MLBB Women’s Invitational 2024 rolls. Perhaps these players needed no introduction again, as their lineup wasn’t changed except for their substitute. However, it is still interesting to highlight two of their players who are sisters: Funi and Chincaaw.
The Finch Sister of Vega
Perhaps the most exciting members of Falcons Vega are the sister duo of Funi and Chincaaw, who led the team from Mid and Gold Lane. These two are the core members of Vega and have never changed from their days of getting the runner-up of MWI 2023. They are inseparable Inside the game, but how about outside?
Like other siblings, they fought each other over the most minor things, such as how their rooms lined up. Both sisters admitted sharing their daily fights on their Instagram account stories with their close friends. Chincaaw also revealed that she sometimes took the blame from Funi in her story.
Funnily, nobody dares to be their peacemaker from the team when the sisters fought each other. The only one close to being their middle-man is Junjun, their manager. Interestingly, they aren’t the only sibling duo in MLBB. There are also Mann-Minn from Team HAQ, who played together in 2023, and Maxx-Matt from Bigetron and Team Secret.
Now, with a new organisation backing them, can they finally grab the elusive MWI trophy and wrest it from Team Vitality’s hand?
