While we are all looking forward to M5 and keeping an eye on MPL PH Season 12, we look back at Team Flash and their recent MPL SG Season 6 victory.
It has only been a few short days since the hype of the Grand Finals at the Mobile Legends Professional League Season 6 in Singapore. In a breathtakingly amazing turn of events, Team Flash defied the odds, finding the resilience they needed to stop RSG Singapore from making history and winning a fourth MPL SG title. Following their victory, Flash sat down with Moonton and the rest of us for a winner’s interview, where they discussed their win and their upcoming venture into the hallowed grounds of the M5 World Championship as SG’s champion.

Our team was at the Grand Finals and the follow-up winner’s interview and these are some of the highlights.
When asked about their feelings about the victory, the game itself, and the way in which they won
Kayzeepi: I think first of all, it’s quite the miracle to go from 1-3 down to end on 4-3, especially with those last three games. We took out some things that we normally do not yet still managed to do it because we trusted each and every one of our players.
Jayy: We just remembered the other MPL regions, when everything was against them, and they still turned it all around.
Adammir: In the second last game, I partially wanted to give up, but my teammates told me not to give up until the game was over so we continued to play hard and we managed to defend.
Kayzeepi: In the end, every single one of us did not give up and in the last game, we just went all in together with no regrets.
When asked about their “underdog” status
Remaniscent: Honestly, we formed this dream team to win the championship, but we did not know what to expect. It was only after we beat RSG in the first series during the Regular Season that we realised that we had something special. There have been a lot of challenges, and a lot of doubts, but overall we still managed to get rid of them.
Kayzeepi: Everyone stands a chance to win when it comes to MPL, there’s always teams that win and those that lose but it’s the ones that that put in the most effort and have a good understanding of one another that will get the results.
When asked about M5, their goals, and the challenges they will face
Kayzeepi: As everyone knows, SG does not have great results at the M-Series. So, we definitely want to do better than the teams before us and experience more too.
Lolsie: Every team is a challenge, and we cannot underestimate anyone, but if there is one team we definitely want to face is ONIC Esports because it will be a very interesting series as we have a similar playstyle. We have already made promises to get higher in M5 than previously and I hope that the other teams and players who I’ve discussed this with also keep their promises.
Kayzeepi: HomeBois has a great mix of new and old players, and we need to give them credit. I hope that if we meet them at M5 we will have a good game.
When asked about their feelings on Moonton and the SG esports ecosystem
Remaniscent: Moonton has done a great job of facilitating all the different tournaments, especially the ones in SG. We have to also thank Zenway Productions for their organisation of such a great event with such a massive audience and tickets were free, which meant everyone could join regardless of financial situation. So Moonton and Zenway, huge thanks to you guys. You are the reason why we are champions.
Hadess on his toughest grand finals moment
“I think the hardest part was they kept banning all of my heroes, so I had to use heroes that we did not practice in scrims."
When asked if the team has any special thanks or shoutouts
Kayzeepi: We would like to firstly sincerely thank Aoen, who helped the team in everything we do. He is someone external who gives his opinions on things and internally it helps us overcome any 50/50. He really gives us the assurance that we need to push to 100% and execute our plans.
Adammir: I’d also like to thank Daryl Ng “Youngin” Jun Da (RSG SG coach) for letting me leave so that I can prove myself in MPL SG.
Jayy: Thank you to everyone for supporting us.

With that, we now leave Team Flash to have a break before they head out into the Land of Dawn at the M5 World Championship in December 2023. We wish the team the best of luck as they carry the Singaporean fans' hopes on their back.
