Team BDS was the biggest winner after week two of the LEC Winter Split.
The LEC Winter Split just has one week left in its regular season match-ups and it's Team BDS that is the first to qualify to the playoffs. Despite losing to G2 Esports in its very first game, BDS managed to bounce back with five straight victories on the trot to put them at the top of the leaderboard heading into the third and final week.
Speaking of G2, they are currently in a four-way tie for second alongside Fnatic, SK Gaming, and Team Heretics with a 4-2 score line. Close behind and tied for sixth are MAD Lions KOI and Team Vitality, who have had a mixed two weeks with 3-3. And of all teams, it is GIANTX who round up the top-eight of the LEC Winter Split with two wins and four losses, which will still be enough to see them through.
Unfortunately, two teams will miss out on the playoffs that will get them to the Mid-Season Invitational as Rogue has only managed one win thus far while Karmine Corp are currently 0-6. Rogue's return to the LEC has not gone the way it would have wanted as it needs nothing short of a miracle to get them through to the next phase. The same can also be said for KC as they will need to win all of their remaining games to come to within a whisker of qualifying.
After this weekend's final round of matches, the final eight will be decided in a double-elimination playoff bracket. The top-seeded team will face the eighth-seed while the second-seed will play against the seventh-seed, and so on and so forth. All the first and second round of matches will be a best-of-three while the rest are a best-of-five.

LEC Winter Split - Games to Watch
With BDS already through, there are still seven spots up for grabs in the final week of games as some hold significantly higher value. The match-up between Rogue and KC to end the first day of week three will be one to look forward to. Will Rogue be the one that hammers the final nail in the coffin, or will it be the start of a comeback for KC?
Vitality also have a hectic final round of matches against SK, Heretics, and MAD respectively, all of which are also vying for a spot in the playoffs. LEC legacies like Fnatic and G2 will be expecting to move on to the next phase and their game on the second day will be pivotal for its overall standings at the end of the day.
