With the Summer Season quickly appraoching, CLG has made some huge changes to their roster.
HotshotGG has revolutionized the streaming world and has helped to revolutionize League of Legends to be taken as seriously as it is today. Having effectively been on the main line-up for 3 years, he reamins one of the oldest professional players to date while helping innovate things in his primse such as his famous Nidalee play and single-handedly being the cause of many of her nerfs.
After the Summer Promotion Series, HotshotGG has stated that there would be a roster change coming. Well that change is upon us that would effectively be established for the Summer Split of the LCS.
- Starting today George "HotshotGG" Georgallidis would no longer be a player on the team, but instead would focus on the business side of the corporation while staying as a sub.
- Zachary "Nientonsoh" Malhas former AD Carry for the disbanded MRN, has joined Counter Logic Gaming as their new top lane.
- Steve "Chauster" Chau has once again gone back to the role of support. Fans will welcome back one of the strongest bot lanes in North America once again.
- Miko "bigfatlp" Tang has returned to CLG as a jungler instead of his typical AP Carry.
- Zaqueri "Aphromoo" Black has left CLG.
CLG's current lineup now is Link (AP Carry), Nientonsoh (Top), bigfatlp (Jungle), Chauster (Support), and Doublelift (AD Carry)
Travis Gafford will extensively cover this change once he comes back from Shanghai, China. All players will have a role in the upcoming interview and will share their own personal feelings about the changes.
