King of Blades: Alpha roster remains together, but leaves organization after North American Spring Regional performance.
KOBA captain KilluZiion posted a twitlonger Wednesday night regarding the teams departure:
KOBA was arguably the most talked about “underdog” at the North American Spring Regionals, showing some extremely impressive play. They were able to eliminate Panda Global out of the group stages 2-1 and even took one game over Tempo Storm.
They’ve also managed to be in the second seeded group of Enter the Storm North American Cup #2.
We reached out to Darkchimaera to ask about this split from the team:
"We just had a difference of goals and priorities. In the end we decided this was in our best interest. Going to the Spring Regional opened up our eyes to the other opportunities out there."
"We just decided to go separate ways. We had different opinions that couldn’t really be worked out" added Tomster.
When asked when this decision was made he commented, “a long time ago”.
"For now we intend to just keep doing what we are doing, playing and improving while we look for a new place to call home" said Darkchimaera.
While they’re not a well known team, their players have a vast amount of potential.
The roster remains the same, but the team name changes. KilluZiion stated in his post that the team would now be called “Gust or Bust”.
