The latest specialist looks like a promising answer against dive heavy comps and auto attack heroes.
We have known about Xul's abilities for some time now, but seeing them in action answers a lot of questions. For one, the damage on his Heroic Poison Nova looks powerful enough to turn the tide of a team fight, however the channel time and slow speed of the missiles means it won't be easy to pull off.Â
His 2nd Heroic, Skeletal Mages, was another ability that is explained much easier when you see it in action. It's not quite Tassadar's wall, but their seems to be tons of potential, as it heavily punishes a team who chooses to run through it. The examples shown in the video remind me of why Mighty Gust is so powerful: the ability to decide where a team fight happens.
Other things of note is the large AoE on Cursed Strikes and the unique talents Bone Armor has at level 1. Each option seems strong, and in this versatility it looks like Xul can perform well against seemingly any type of enemy. The ease in which he creates a huge wave of Skeletons is a little alarming, but only will tell how to best counter this.
