Na'Vi crowned champion of EU ETS Cup #4, winning $6,000

After an exciting weekend for the top European HotS teams, and an even more exciting final day, Na'Vi takes the crown in EU Enter the Storm Cup #4.

Na'Vi was crowned the champion of EU today after beating out The Sandwich Monkey 3-2 in the intense best-of-five grand finale in EU ETS Cup #4. Not only did Na'Vi take home the $6,000 first place prize, but gained huge momentum in Europe as they head into the Katowice Spring Regional in early March.

Na'Vi dominated the torunament by not losing a single series, but TSaM didn't let them off easy. In the second round of the tournament, Na'Vi beat TSaM 2-1, sending TSaM to the losers bracket. That wasn't the last time the two teams would meet, though. TSaM shocked everyone by proving their dominance in the losers bracket - beating Virtus.Pro, Fnatic and Team Liquid 2-0, securing a rematch with Na'Vi in the grand finale.

In the final series, TSaM and Na'Vi put everything on the field, and it showed when the series was tied 2-2 in game number five. TSaM wasn't able to finish Na'Vi off though - in the last game Na'Vi absolutely dominated TSaM with 23 kills and only two deaths.

Na'Vi was one of the first teams to qualify in Group A, landing a top seed in the tournament. Suprisingly, in the main event, TSaM (who was seeded second in group D behind Team Liquid) was able to beat the top seeded teams like Fnatic, GIZ and Team Liquid, who won groups B, C and D respectively.

It isn't all bad for The Sandwich Monkey, though. They took home the $3,500 second place prize money, but more importantly they marked their territory in the European Heroes of the Storm scene. Many people didn't think they would make it as far as they did, especially after not qualifying for the Katowice Spring Regional. One thing is certain however - TSaM showed the haters what they can do, even if they will never do it again...
