Phil Ivey Divorce Settlement Reopened, New Details Emerge

Details of the 2009 settlement between Phil Ivey and his ex-wife Luciaetta are currently being debated in court after his ex-wife sought to reopen after concerns about Ivey’s campaign donations which included the judge who presided over their divorce case.

Phil Ivey’s lawyer had another take on the issue, saying that Luciaetta “sought to reopen the divorce case because she wasted all her money.”

The report details that Ivey gave his wife millions, a home, and assumed the couple’s debt of which there was $15.1 million in “gambling and other debt.” His ex-wife also stopped receiving alimony payments in April, but the divorce agreement stated that alimony would stop in the event that Phil ended his relationship with Full Tilt Poker.
