ElkY Interview at WSOPE

Bertrand 'ElkY' Grospellier gives his latest interview to pokertube.com at the World Series of Poker Europe in Cannes France. In addition to being thrilled with having such a prestigious tournament in his home country of France, he shares some other aspects of his poker life.

Like many players, Grospellier felt that London was too crowded and the move to Southern France suits him. He is thrilled with the move, especially because he had never been to Cannes before himself.

ElkY current lives in London, although finds himself on the road for poker more than staying in London.

ElkY is enjoying being the "poster boy" for PokerStars.fr.

As for StarCraft2, ElkY said he tried like 500 or so games, but it takes so much time.
"It's so frustrating when you know you can be good, but you don't have all the time to be really good."
He still plays and feels it's a really great game, but is too busy to take it to the top level of play. He said he finds it's relaxing.

As for his feelings about StarCraft2 vs. StarCraft...
"It's pretty good. They made some stupid moves with the servers, where you have to buy the game three times if you travel. But it's good like StarCraft where it takes you a long time to master, similar to poker in that way."
Elky's MMA fight with Lex Veldhuis has been rescheduled for November 22nd with PokerStars being involved.
"I think I'm going to crush him. He talks too much. He says he's going to punish me because I run too good. But I'm like WTF is that? Two years ago I was drunk when I made the bet. He would have killed me, but now I can beat him. After the WSOP I went to Thailand to train."
