Mortal Kombat 1 has unveiled gameplay for its Terminator DLC character.

NetherRealm Studios has unveiled the first official gameplay video for its last known DLC fighter in Mortal Kombat 1: the T-1000 from Terminator 2: Judgement Day. The trailer also confirms that Madam Bo is joining the game’s packed roster as a Kameo fighter, but there is no word on future DLC releases as of right now.

Mortal Kombat 1 unveils gameplay for the T-1000 from Terminator 2

Mortal Kombat 1’s latest (and seemingly final) DLC character now has his first gameplay trailer. NetherRealm has released a video showing off gameplay for the T-1000, which hails from the classic action movie Terminator 2: Judgement Day. The trailer also confirms that Madam Bo is joining the Kameo roster, having previously played a brief role in the main campaign.

The trailer is a real treat for Terminator 2 fans. Not only does the T-1000 feature the likeness and voice of returning actor Robert Patrick, but it features attacks ripped straight out of the movie. The T-1000 is still made out of liquid metal, and thus is able to morph in and out of blob form at any time, shapeshifting his limbs into swords, hooks, and all manner of weaponry.

The trailer ends with a look at the T-1000’s fatality, inspired by a chase scene from Terminator 2. Here, the T-1000 drives a truck that smashes into his enemy, before shapeshifting out of the driver’s seat and riddling them with bullets. The trailer also confirms that Madam Bo, the elderly owner of a restaurant seen in the base campaign, will be available as a Kameo fighter.

Both characters will be available as part of the Khaos Reign expansion, launching in-game on 18 March, 2025 for anyone who owns the expansion. The T-1000 will then be available as a separate purchase on 25 March, 2025. He might end up being the final DLC character for Mortal Kombat 1 as well, given that NetherRealm has not announced any future characters or additional DLC packs for the game.
