Yes, the beloved MOBA is back and it looks better than ever.
Kongor Studios and Garena have announced the return of Heroes of Newerth under its new title: Heroes of Newerth: Reborn, after a tease and a rumour dismissal. The game will launch as a free-to-play game on the iGames platform.
Initially released in 2010, Heroes of Newerth quickly became a classic in the MOBA genre, with players desiring a MOBA with better graphics that stayed true to its DOTA roots. The game set itself apart with its fast-paced gameplay. According to the press release received by GosuGamers, Heroes of Newerth: Reborn seeks to build upon that legacy with significant upgrades and an enhanced player experience.

The biggest gameplay change players might notice in Heroes of Newerth: Reborn is an all-new boss Phoenix on the map, an objective that is described as “challenging but rewarding.” New mechanics have been added to spice things up, such as ravens to assist with sight, and a lane-pushing Kongor. Besides the in-map mechanics, the game will also feature a new revamped audio and visuals, role queue, and 100-tick servers.
Heroes of Newerth: Reborn will be the inaugural title on the iGames platform. It will be supported by an iGames Genesis Campaign, where exclusive rewards will be given to the project supporters.
