Get a Legend skin in Honor of Kings by selling cakes!
Honor of Kings is ushering in the Year of the Snake with various festive events and exclusive rewards. The celebration kicked off with limited-edition skins, a bustling Year of the Snake market, a new battlefield theme, and opportunities to unlock free Heroes.
For this year, players will have a chance to get four Year of the Snake exclusive skins starting from 27 January, 2025. The skins are: "Wish of Order" - Lam, "Wish of Abundance" - Consort Yu, "Wish of Harmony" - Daji, and "Wish of Eternity" - Nuwa. Players would also have a chance to earn Lam, Consort Yu, Daji, and Nuwa for free by collecting tokens and exchanging it with the heroes.
Tencent also announced a new event called Year of the Snake Market, where players collect Snake Cake by completing daily and limited missions. Players then can trade Snake Cake in the market to earn Snake Coins that can be redeemed for an exclusive Legend-tier skin.
Besides the market, there was also a Red Packet Event from 24 January to 12 February. Red Packet can be earned by signing in daily and participating in matches. Every 10 Red Packets opened will guarantee a Random Skin Chest to receive skins that players still don't own up to Epic level.
Besides the free reward, a new Year of the Snake-themed battlefield was also activated from 24 January to 12 February. The new mechanics introduced in this battlefield include the Rune Blessing, where random runes spawn during matches starting from minute two, and continue to spawn every minute until ten minutes has elapsed. They offer effects such as Gold gain, Mana gain, Recovery gain, Speed boost, and Cooldown gain.
Also during 28th January to 4th February, 2025, get double rewards consisting of Starstones, Experiences, and Bravery Points, for three matches daily. The Year of The Snake events are a great way to complete your skins collection, and a great way to fill your bravery points with double rewards.
