Palworld’s upcoming expansion brings Terraria content to the game.
Pocketpair developer Palworld has unveiled its next major update Feybreak, which arrives this month with some crossover content from the 2D survival game Terraria. Feybreak will add an all-new island to the game for players to explore, which will be six times bigger than the game’s last island addition of Sakurajima.
Palworld’s next major update comes with Terraria collab content
Palworld originally teased a crossover with the hit 2D survival game Terraria back in November, with a 2025 release window. Now, it looks like players are getting a first taste of the crossover this month, thanks to a new major update for the game titled Feybreak.
Feybreak adds a ton of new Pals, resources and weapons for players to discover within an all-new island. That includes the new island of Feybreak, populated by a new enemy faction called the Feybreak Warriors, new Chromite and Hexolite Quartz resources, new expeditions, new research mechanics and more difficult Predator Pals to take down.
Additionally, players can also play the role of a sheriff to take down criminals in exchange for bounties. Tons of new buildings and weapons can now be crafted, and the player level cap has been increased to 60. Most importantly, players can now finally sit in chairs - a crucial aspect of the survival gaming experience.
This update also adds one piece of content from the game’s collaboration with Terraria. When it launches, players will be able to wield the Meowmere (one of my personal favourite Terraria weapons). This weapon fires projectiles with every swing, while also mewling at the player for additional cuteness.
However, this weapon is Meow-merely a teaser of the game’s upcoming crossover with Terraria. That’s still set for a tentative 2025 release window. You can find Palworld’s patch notes for the Feybreak update here.
