MapleStorySEA is hosting an offline event in Malaysia to celebrate its 19th anniversary.
The popular MMORPG MapleStorySEA officially turns 19 this year, and players are getting a series of new updates to celebrate the anniversary starting in May. These updates will remaster the Angelic Buster class and add ways for players to level up rapidly not just with one character, but multiple characters simultaneously.
An offline 19th anniversary celebration event will also be held in IOI City Mall, Malaysia in June.
MapleStorySea kicks off 19th anniversary with a bevy of updates
MapleStorySEA is getting a bunch of new updates to celebrate its 19th anniversary, starting with the return of the Angelic Buster class. The remastered class drops this week, updating old skill effects to make the class more fun to play and adding a new collaboration with the character Lucid. The Southeast Asia region will be the first to experience this collaboration, which seemingly consists of new music tracks.
From May 29 to August 20, the game is also introducing a limited-time event designed to give players a way to boost their characters’ levels quickly. During the event, players will get to combine Tera Burning and a new Hyper Burning+ system to push their characters all the way to Level 260, with new ways to get through early levels quickly. This involves a retooled tutorial system, special hunting missions and other unique missions.
On July 10, classes are also getting new sixth Job Skills. Each class is getting a second Mastery skill and a universal skill. On the same day, the game will introduce an all-new Union Artifact system designed to allow multi-character levelling. By completing daily and weekly missions, players will be able to level multiple characters at the same time.
Lastly, MapleStorySea is celebrating its 19th anniversary with an offline event held exclusively in Malaysia. The event will be held in IOI City Mall in Putrajaya from June 21 to 23, and it will be open to the public. Visitors can check out activities like puzzle challenges and art booths, and score some exclusive in-game items too.
