Popular MOBA Honor of Kings is finally getting a global roll-out this June.
Publisher Level Infinite and developer Timi Studio Group have announced a global release date for Honor of Kings: June 20. The mobile MOBA will finally be playable in regions like North America, Europe, Japan, Malaysia and more next month, after its original release in China all the way back in 2015.
Pre-registrations for the game are now open globally.
Honor of Kings launches worldwide in June, Invitational Season 2 details unveiled
The popular MOBA Honor of Kings is finally releasing worldwide on June 20, with pre-registrations already open to the public. The game is also running a pre-registration reward campaign, giving players more in-game freebies depending on how many pre-registrations it racks up by June 20. Here’s a rundown of all the rewards:
- Free Hero - Ying & associated skin: awarded to all who pre-register
- Level 1 Milestone Unlocked: 500 diamonds
- Level 2 Milestone Unlocked: 2000 arcana fragments
- Level 3 Milestone Unlocked: 5000 atarstones
- Level 4 Milestone Unlocked: All heroes free trail pass x 20
Anyone interested in pre-registering for the game launch can do so here. Anyone who pre-registers will also enter a lucky draw event, with the chance of winning the following:
- Grand Prize - Full hero with full skin privileges
- 1st Prize - 500 limited-time tokens
- 2nd Prize - 18,888 Starstones
- Sunshine Blessing Prize - 200 diamonds for all participants
Honor of Kings will retain its free-to-play status upon the worldwide rollout, but it will only feature 85 of its 100+ playable heroes at launch. 5v5, 3V3, Boot Camp and AI simulation game modes will be available, with game sessions taking an estimated 15-20 minute to complete. Interestingly, the game will also feature music from Hans Zimmer (Dune film series), Joe Hisaishi (The Boy and the Heron, Spirited Away) and Howard Shore (The Lord of the Rings movie trilogy).
During its global launch month, The Invitational Season 2 will kick off in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Honor of Kings tournament will begin on June 29, with teams from Brazil, Turkey, Southeast Asia, MENA, LATAM and Europe competing for a cut of the $300,000 prize pool. The winning team will also get to participate in the Honor of Kings Invitational Midseason during the Esports World Cup in Riyadh.
