Talon and nouns miss the mark; Playoff brackets set for BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024

Group stage of BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 has come to an end with four teams sent packing for home already.

BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 kicked off over the weekend with 12 teams competing for the lion's share of the $1,000,000 prize pool. After the group stage, four teams were eliminated – all of which were qualified teams. 

Among the biggest surprises to be sent packing were nouns. The NA team made no roster changes from The International 2024 but somehow still ended the groups with a dismal 0:1:4 series record, which translates to a 1:9 game record. Yes, they took only one win, which was against Team Spirit's updated lineup. 

Talon didn't do any better. They shared the same series/games record but their win came against Mouz, who incidentally was also eliminated (as well as L1GA).

Not surprising though is Team Falcons at the top of Group B with Team Spirit and  Gaimin Gladiators featuring Alimzhan “Watson” Islambekov tied just behind them. 

BetBoom Team topped Group A along with Tundra Esports' overhauled roster built by Neta “33” Shapira. These two teams split their series 1:1 tying them up for the lead spot but what gave the EEU team the advantage was Gleb "kiyotaka" Zyryanov's win over Artem "lorenof" Melnick in the 1v1 tiebreaker. Kiyotaka won by creepstat.

The playoffs will kick off tomorrow, Wednesday, October 23rd with the Upper Bracket Quarter Finals.

The prize pool for BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 is $1,000,000 – the same amount as BetBoom Dacha Dubai. And honestly, not too much less than The International, which clocked in at $2,602,164 at the end.
