After almost three years of playing under the OG banner, bzm is moved to inactive status.
OG were regarded as one of the main favourites at one of the two slots up for grabs in the region for the most important tournament of the year – The International 2024. However, ahead of their upper bracket semifinals, the team had played with Aleksandra "Immersion" Khmelevskoi standing in for Sébastien "Ceb" Debs who had just become a new father. It wasn't the end of the year OG had hoped for but had somehow summed up the whole season for them.
Now ahead of the new season, they are making some changes to the roster.
Enzo "Timado" Gianoli was the first player the organization parted ways with and now Bozhidar “bzm” Bogdanov is the second player.
The Bulgarian player was part of the OG roster since November 2021, when the old guard took their leave and OG went through a full overhaul. It was only the second team that he had competed for in his professional career. That is…. he played for creepwave for two months prior to that.
Since then the solo mid-player carved out a name for himself in the regional and international scene, building up accolades and experience alike.
There is no word yet if bzm will head to another organization for the season or who will take his – or Timado's – spot. But it will need to be sorted and announced quickly.
OG’s new roster is expected to make its debut tomorrow in the BetBoom Dacha regional qualifiers. Western Europe has one spot up for grabs in the qualifier battle for a spot at the $1,000,000 tournament, which will be held in Serbia, October 19-26th.
