In a full sweep, Nouns made quick work of Shopify to claim the qualifier slot to represent North America at The International 2024.
With only six invites handed out to teams for The International 2024, North America was left empty-handed. To top things off, they were awarded only one slot via qualifiers.
It was always expected that the grand finals would be a battle between nouns and Shopify Rebellion. Subpar results have led to nonstop tinkering with Shopify's roster. The latest was less than two weeks ago when Jonáš "SabeRLight-" Volek was replaced by Ivan "MinD_ContRoL" Ivanov and most fans were eager and hopeful to see what the European would do.
An underwhelming performance at BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 brought about a roster change for nouns. Adding Philipp "Copy" Bühler in place of Daniel "Stormstormer" Schoetzau had at least yielded the results of a spot at Riyadh Masters. They were expected to have their work cut out for them against Shopify Rebellion, but instead, they proved they were completely capable of overpowering them once again – after all they took the Riyadh spot with a 3:2 victory over Shopify.
It was a series poised to be thrilling, not a spanking. What appears to be an issue for Shopify with ANY offlaner in their strategy, nouns were able to just run over them.
With nouns win, Fly will be attending his 11th consecutive TI since TI3. It also signals the end of a streak for Arteezy who will miss his first since TI4.

The International 2024 (TI13)
The International 2024 is set to take place in Copenhagen, Denmark in September at the Royal Arena. This will mark the second time The International is coming to Europe, but the first time when, hopefully, fans will be able to attend. The first time Valve tried to bring its most prestigious tournament to Europe was in 2020 when the pandemic hit the world. TI10 was postponed for 2021 and moved from Sweden to Romania, and although tickets were sold, a new wave of coronavirus forced Valve to refund all tickets and hold the tournament in an empty stadium in Bucharest. Since then, TI moved to Singapore in 2022 and last year it returned home, to Seattle.

China will have another team qualify for The International 2024 later today, so stay tuned, and for more match results and updates on the go don't forget to check out our Telegram channel.
