The last four standing in DreamLeague Season 22

Heading into the playoffs weekend of DreamLeague Season 22, only four teams remain -- Team Falcons, BetBoom, Team Spirit, and Xtreme Gaming.

DreamLeague Season 22 wrapped up both group stages already, whittling 16 teams down to four.

The recent format for DreamLeague probably has the most grueling group stage, with literally half of the teams getting eliminated after Group Stage 1. Eight teams were eliminated in group stage 1 with unexpected exits in the first group stage.

Eight teams advanced to Group Stage 2. The matches were long – yielding many full-game series as well as several one-hour or more matches. The action often went easily into the late night – the last match of the groups pushing 70 minutes and being a decisive series between Gaimin Gladiators and Xtreme Gaming. *spoiler alert: GG was not the victor*

Team Falcons continue to soar above the rest. After claiming the title at BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 they are easily on their way to claim another title. The MENA region reps have an undefeated series record in group stage 2, losing only one match.

The action continues tomorrow, Saturday March 9th with Lower Bracket Elimination Series
Team SpiritvsXtreme Gaming 15:00 CET

Followed by the Upper Bracket Finals:
